Subscribe to the seminar list

We will send out a list of upcoming seminars no more than once a month by e-mail. To subscribe send an e-mail to taikai-subscribe@kaigozan.se. Here is a few more options we recommend...

How to add seminars to this list

Adding a new seminar to this list is free. All asked is that you do it yourself and follow the few and simple rules.

If you want to add Bujinkan seminars you need login/password. Please contact me to get an account, please let me know what userid and password you want. And PLEASE don't forget your userid/password after you get it! Then you can start adding seminars to the database.

Webmasters!

We would appriceate if you list seminars from this data base on your web site! You can even use the data and make it look like your design with CSS. If you have questions, wishes, or suggestions please contact me!

Note the links (..gi-bin/SEMINARS.cgi?2007-04) for example can be modified after the "?" to display which ever month you want, if you remove everything after the "?", the whole year will be displayed. See below how to a make these a variable so you don't need to update your web site every month.

Here is a trick how to get the correct month showing, paste this into your HTML code where you want the seminar list to appear. The document must be named anything.php (AFAIK only on Unix/Linux servers). If anyone know the corresponding code for Windows ASP, please let me know.

<?php
$today = date("Y-m");
$ch = curl_init("http://www.kesshi.com/cgi-bin/SEMINARS.cgi?$today");
curl_setopt($ch, CURLOPT_HEADER, 0);
curl_exec($ch);
curl_close($ch);
?>

Not sure if this works, probably depends on the web server settings...

<!--#config timefmt="%Y-%m" --> <!--#include virtual="http://www.kesshi.com/cgi-bin/SEMINARS.cgi?$DATE_LOCAL" -->

In worst case you could make an iframe... examples on google

If you have suggestions how to improve the script, please contact me :-)

You can also use a RSS parser like MagpieRSS: RSS for PHP for example. But this will not list the seminars in chronological order, which might not be as good as previous suggestions.
