June 14-15'th in Stockholm
Now the application for for my Kenjutsu seminar is open, for more information check out this web site. If Swedish is not your language, please feel free to contact me if you are interested to attend.
I will go through the sword katas from Togakure-ryu but with my own twist, not exactly how the basics is supposed to be (I'm not menkyou kaiden in the school so I don't pretend to know).
Also Iaijutsu/Iainuki, fast drawing and Battojutsu, cutting with sharp swords against makiwara.
Number of participants is limited so sign up quickly!
I made an even smaller seminar application that you can put on your web sites, check it out here. I forgot to tell you about the two previous versions, the slick one and the facebook application. It is still free to advertice seminars! For more info see here.
I updated the Shugyou portal now with seminar lists for this year and next year. When we moved the websites to a new server some things crashed. I found out that the newsletter mod didn't work, and I had to upgrade this module. And even that one did not work, so I had to spend half the day reading support forums, and I finally fixed it. So if you subscribe to the newsletters you have a new mail from us today.
BTNet is also up and running, the forum software is still beta, but it seems pretty stable now. I won't do any major work on it until the stable release. But this concerns only the back end, so start using it, the messages will still be there after the uppgrade...
There is a lot of new pictures up at the Kaigozan photo album. There was however a lot of spam on it, so I had to update the software. But it is still possible to add spam. It is quite easy to remove, but if it get too much I will close the registration process and ask you to contact me if you want to add pictures. But until then, please start uploading your pictures (Bujinkan related only!).
We moved all the ppictures to the Kaigozan web site. We also added 77 new pictures we got from Mr Tamouree Jordan. We still accept more pictures from you other guys, please send them to us!

Hello!
This year is “the year of Ku-Ki” (nine demons) and we have nine instructors teaching at the Taikai.
We still have places left for this years Taikai!
We have also been working on a new website, it is temporarily set up at www.taikai.se check it out!
The identity of this years instructors is secret, but we will give you more and more clues to who they are once a week at our web site. However two or three of them will remain secret until the Taikai starts. If you decide to go it will be a big surprice and you will not be disappointed. If you don’t you will regret missing this Taikai for the rest of your life.
More information @ www.taikai.se
Register for Taikai now @ http://www.kaigozan.se/seminars/K2007/K2007.shtml
Welcome to Kaigousuru 2007 Taikai
If anyone want to support us, please put up a banner to our website, please use this code, copy and paste it in to your web page source, thanks :-)

It is now over, we think it was a big success and we are very happy!
If you was at Kaigousuru this year, please leave a comment here.
Thank you for supporting us!
and see you next year... April 27-29'th 2007
BTW If you have a fan site about Kaigousuru please send us your link to it!
Hello! The Kaigousuru Taikai 2006is fully booked. If you haven't sent us your registration it is to late, we don't have space for more people!
A couple of days ago I got an e-mail from Sheila. She also have to cancel this time, her father just passed away and she have to go home to California.
NEXT YEAR!
Send in your application early for next year to be sure you can attend. We will announce the dates for next year on the web site next week.
Unfortunately Steffen also had to cancel, we knew that for a while but now we got the final decision from him. His daughter is having a graduation at school and his whole family including relatives is having a party for her, so this is of course more important.
We haven't finalized the teaching schedules for the instructors yet so when we have made the final schedule we can see if there is place for any more main instructors.
But there will be at least FIVE other Judans present at the seminar so don't worry, you will have the chance to meet many good instructors, and of course all the other people attending.
We still have around 20 places left for the seminar so if you haven't sent in the applications please do that now!

Ahh it's not long until this years Taikai start, we decided to extend the last date for your applications to April 15'th. If you are later please don't hesitate to contact us by e-mail, we might have room for you to :-)
We decided not to replace the two instructors immediately, instead we will give the 7 remaining instructors more time instead. We heard many people wanting more time with each instructor.
I'm not sure we mentioned it, but we will follow up last years success with splitting the groups in two, one advanced group for the black belts and one group for the beginners and green belts. Maybe a third group with high level training for the instructors Shidoshi and above.
More of that later, however it is going to be a good Taikai!
Welcome!
We got dns problems to kaigozan.se the past days. If you want to sign up please go directly to http://www.kaigozan.com/seminars/K2006.shtml
Hello!
We now have over 100 people signed up for this years Taikai. Many people from different countries, most notably is Czech Republic with 16 people and Finland with 15 people, the rest is spread evenly between 10 other countries.
Unfortunately Sveneric and Mariette can not come this year. Mariette had to remove one of her upper ribs 10 years ago. Over the years her shoulder have dropped down and caused impaired moveability and pain. And now she is going to do surgery to fix it. Both Sveneric and Mariette would have loved to come, but they can't. We already invited them for next year and they have gladly accepted.
I know some of you will be disappointed but that is life. Shizen is also this years theme, things change naturally and we have to adopt to the changes naturally and do the best we can without looking back of what could have been. It will be a great Taikai regardless. We still have many other good instructors that will come. Maybe we will add more instructors or increase the remaining instructors teaching time.
However this will not affect the overall training quality or amount of training opportunity!
We got a good deal with the Solna Park Inn hotel and this is the hotell we recommend you to stay at during this years Taikai.
The price for one bed in a double room is 325 SEK per night, and one single room is 525 SEK per night. NOTE these prices are only valid during the Taikai and may change. Please contact the hotel for more details. When booking you have to say that you are here for TAIKAI to get this good price!
We will arrange shuttle traffic between this hotel and the trainings. Book as early as possible, hotels in Stockholm get full booked quite often.
Please note that we (the Taikai organizers) can not help you with bookings, please contact the hotel.
Click here for booking and more info, do not forget to mention TAIKAI when you make the booking!
Now you can also pay the Kaigousuru 2006 Taikai fee with the full package deal on the Shugyou Budo Shop.
Pay now before the end of February and you will save 300 SEK.
Akemashite omedetou gozaimasu (happy new year)!
Merry christmas to you all, we just got another confirmation by Mr Arnaud Cousergue in France. I think you all should know that he had already planned a seminar in Paris the same date, but he likes Kaigousuru so much that he changed his plans to fit in with ours. So thank you very much Arnaud for chosing us :-)
I uploaded a video with Arnaud right before christmnas but I didn't have time to fix the links. I will upload more videos in a few minutes. You can go to www.archive.org and search for Kaigousuru or Bujinkan and you will find them.
Please also feel free to write a review or vote for the video clips, thanks in advance!
I uploaded a PDF application form. Please help us by printing this out to friends that don't have internet or want to register on-line.
I will upload more videos soon, sorry for the delay!
Lauri Jokinen, a Jûdan from Finland will also be teaching at Kaigousuru. This is his first time teaching at Kaigousuru, so we don't have a video of him, but here is Lauri's web site
Ahhh, finally the web shop is open, now you can start shopping christmas gifts :-)
I just uploaded video clip #6. It is Sveneric Bogsäter, who also will join us next year. The on-line registration is up now, so please pass this news on to everyone!
Now we are ready to receive your applications for the Kaigousuru 2006 Taikai. Please be smart and make sure you register and pay the seminar fee before the end of 2005.
Video clip #5 is also uploaded... it's me on the video :-)
I just uploaded another video clip from the Kaigousuru 2005 Taikai, it is Sheila Haddad teaching. She will also be joining us at the next years Taikai.
The application form will be up tomorrow, please register early!
I just uploaded the videoclips to another web site, so now they are available again!
Well our lovely ISP suspended the web site because of the high traffic the video's caused. We was forced to take them away and if we upload more video's to the website they will suspend it forever. So now we need to find another place to store the video's, and maybe change ISP. It might take a few days. Sorry, but the video's will be available again soon!
We now also have Steffen Fröhlich a Shihan 15'th Dan from Germany confirmed for next year. He was also at the past Taikai and we just uploaded a new video clip with him from the Kaigousuru 2005 Taikai, see the "free video's" section.
What if one of your arms is injured and you can't use it at all. Maybe it is not injured, maybe you hold something important in one of your arms that you just can't drop, a baby for example. How do you defend yourself from a situation like this?
Well this was the theme that Ed Martin Shihan 15'th Dan from Macungie in USA taught at the recent Kaigousuru 2005 Taikai in Stockholm, earlier in May.
And in the downloads section you can find a free video clip, Ed also talked about something important in the interview, so you must watch it! Tell all your friends to download it to :-)
